Have not received the invite. After seeing you guys' comments, I feel even more worried. It seems to be a bit unfair for international students. Not everyone can arrange everything to fly to the States (Visa, works, $$) for an interview. Just wonder why they removed the alumni interviews but do not consider all of those logistics things. Any comment from the current students? Guess I should focus on my Booth interview, although Wharton is my first priority.

I totally agree with you. I always hear those inspired speeches from AdCom members. They always say how unbiased they are, and how the University offers equal opportunities.... Equal opportunities my ***. Personally there is no way for me to get to an off/on campus interview. OK suppose I a get the invitation today (I still wait for it to come), suppose I decide to put all those money out there, suppose I get a week off at my job, EVEN THEN I still cannot get a visa on time. If they were soo sure that alumni interviews are not working they should have compensated this innovation with few more Hub Cities.... Especially across Europe.

Thank you, all, for your questions and concerns.

Unfortunately, all of our HUB locations have been filled at this time. Please do monitor for any cancellations that make occur, but in the meantime, we encourage you to schedule an interview on-campus. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to come to campus yet, you can also take part in our campus visit program while you are here.

Should international travel be impossible at this time, please email us at mbainterview@wharton.upenn.edu explaining your situation and we will be happy to determine if a phone/skype interview would be appropriate in your circumstance.

Best of luck to you all,

MBA Admissions

Doesn't take a 700 GMAT to realize there's basically very little interview slots left at all if any, anywhere. Suspect due to last years screw up with interviews, the adcoms are going to do more interviews themselves, meaning less interviews overall (unless they expand their interview team)

Oh well, reject or WL for me...i think the WL list will be pretty large for R1.

Adcoms are conducting every interview this year... like HBS does. They are still slots open on campus though, and I suspect they will open more on campus slots next week. Just no more hub interviews.

BTW - What happened with interviews last year? Everyone keeps reffering to that.

Good point. I didn't really realize that, but you're right. They probably had an estimated percentage of applicants who would eventually land on the interview, and the hub slots were allocated accordingly. Time to move on with R2. Just wish I could take back all that time I wasted logging in and out of the account...

just to clarify what seems to be some confusion on this board... I just had my Wharton interview on Friday. It was on-campus but was not someone on the Admissions Committee - it was a 2nd year student. Half hour, very basic behavioral interview. No stress

Thanks for this.

So I guess it's adcom and 2nd year students?

Yes that will be very helpful. Sounds like it's the basic "tell me about yourself, strengths, weaknesses, teamwork" type stuff? Anything that stuck out?

I'm assuming that your experience was very similar to last year, ie talk about leadership, conflict with someone in workplace, working in a team, etc?

Any more healthcare management invites?

I second this. Anymore invites to HCMG?
Third this. I'm starting to wonder what's going on with HCM this year. Surely some of us are worthy of an invite! I know of only one person so far. I have half a mind to email June and see what's up

Yea I think there are at least 8 of us on this board applying to HCM, but only carro has indicated that he/she has been invited to interview thus far. I'm crossing my fingers hoping June's review of the apps is delaying the rest of the invites until later this week :)
