Has anyone that has registered for an interview recieved any information on the propmt or disucssion topic in order to start prep? I checked the MyWharton page and can't find anything and I don't think I've missed an email.

It's within the confirmation email you receive. The email title starts with "PLEASE READ". Check your spam folder. If you have not receivered one just contact admissions and I am sure they can re-send.

Thanks +1! I missed that the first time seeing the email.

Good luck to all!

So this is a totally irresponsible and worthless post but I have no self-control.

Here is the question I pose to the group:

Do you think for R1 Wharton casts a wider net on interviews? For example, if they interview typically 40% of the applicant pool, do they interview say 45% of R1 applicants, and <40% in later rounds?

Additionally, of those R1 interview invites, do they admit a higher % of those invited to interview in R1 than those invited to interview in R2? So for example, 50% of R1 invites, and 40% of R2 invites?

I understand that R1 applicants may generally be slightly stronger collectively than R2, so perhaps? Also, the fact that there are obviously more spots open in R1 than in R2?

Any more wild speculation? Anyone have any actual data to substantiate anything?

Wharton does interview more by % in R1 just based on the fact that, historically, R1 has less applicants than R2 and I do not believe they ramp up their interview infrastructure from R1 to R2.

Also looking at data from the past 2-3 application cycles, Wharton waitlists a ton of R1 applicants so that will be fun :)

Wharton waitslists like... everyone that interviews R1 and doesn't get an admit.

Everyone on the forums last year who was notified on the last day of the window was denied. I'm feeling rather down. I shouldn't have gone looking :(
I'm not sure where you're getting your info from. I received an invite on the last day last year.

He might mean that they were "eventually" denied. Not sure though.

There were tons of rejection messages in the forum last year. So, mostly dings (with some invites interspersed)

Oh wow- that does sound like fun haha! For more "fun", what % of those waitlisted typically ultimately get accepted on average?
