So this is a totally irresponsible and worthless post but I have no self-control.
Here is the question I pose to the group:
Do you think for R1 Wharton casts a wider net on interviews? For example, if they interview typically 40% of the applicant pool, do they interview say 45% of R1 applicants, and <40% in later rounds?
Additionally, of those R1 interview invites, do they admit a higher % of those invited to interview in R1 than those invited to interview in R2? So for example, 50% of R1 invites, and 40% of R2 invites?
I understand that R1 applicants may generally be slightly stronger collectively than R2, so perhaps? Also, the fact that there are obviously more spots open in R1 than in R2?
Any more wild speculation? Anyone have any actual data to substantiate anything?
