@tafkas .... Check your official acceptance letter in the application website. It seems that for most people, financial aid is not mentioned at all in phone calls, but are briefly described in the official letters.

Indian candidate - got a call yesterday. No mention of financial aid though..
Congratulations to all!

Hey..

I got waitlisted... What is Whartons reputation for waitlisting?? do you have a chance?? I feel like seeing as i am from Africa the chances are pretty slim cause most these individuals will accept their offers? Can anyone share their thoughts?

Hi! Two questions about fellowships, please ...

1)Does anyone know how much is the maximum TOTAL "Joseph Wharton Fellowship?" I see in online articles that the maximum is $20k, but I'm not sure if that's $20k per year ($40k total) or $10k per year ($20k total).

2) Are there any special program benefits (e.g., recruitment, special access/events, extra support) for being a Joseph Wharton Fellow?

Thanks!

I have a friend who received 40k or more a couple of years ago, I don't know if anything has changed.

Did they tell you what Fellowship you got? Mine just says I got a fellowship, but not which one. It said the quantity is to be divided, half for each year. Later I got another e-mail about financial aid for the first year and it included half of my fellowship in the budget.

Hi everyone!
Congratulations to all who have been accepted. I have been accepted alongwith my spouse at both Wharton and Booth. In the throes of indecision - as there is a $50k scholarship (over 2 years) from Booth. Any opinions? Anyone??

What do you and your spouse want to do post MBA? I would look at career strengths first. If those are similar, attend both admit weekends to get a feel for the two programs. You can't go wrong with either. Congrats to both of you!

Surely this is your own decision to make? You researched the schools and should know which one would make you a better person..It is better you make the decision yourself instead of letting people who know next to nothing about you decide your future.

Oh surely it is my decision. I just want to know other opinions which may come from current students and alumni. It will help me to make decision besides my own research. Thanks anyway.

I am no expert but if you have any plans to return back to sg in long term - you might wanna note that Booth alumni network is rapidly expanding in asia, esp in sg given their EMBA campus in sg.

Is essay 2 a usual contribution essay? I feel like the word limits is a bit longer for a contribution essay. Should i take another approach for this essay? What did you guys write?
