So I've gotten in at Wharton, Chicago, MIT, and Cambridge. I'm debating if I should continue the process, apply to LBS and, if I get in, go to LBS.
Immediate post-MBA goal: Probably MBB or operations consulting in the UK
Longer term: Unclear. Don't know if I'll be in the UK, US, Asia, wherever.
Right now, I'm leaning towards Wharton. I can study abroad at LBS for a semester, lay some groundwork pre-matriculation, and get hired in the UK. To the extent that I'll be in a random other location in the world longer term, I can rely on Wharton's network and reputation. If I was going to be in the UK forever, I'd still keep chugging along to get LBS, but at this point, I feel like Wharton is the best all-round choice.
Thoughts?
