Hello Folks,
I have taken my GMAT date as 16th Dec 2013, and working hard to get a high score(targeting 700+)
However it appears to me that i'm very late for 2014 admissions. Almost for every college first round is over, and by the time i'm done with my GMAT, even the second round will also get close.
This is really troubling me. As per different forums, getting admission and scholarships in 3rd round is real difficult.
I'm 30 now, and if have to take admission in 2015, i'll be getting older by another 2 years. However my work experience will also increase by same number
Please suggest me what should be my next course of action, and list of colleges where should try and may have good chance of securing an admission and scholarship. As I've got late so need to research on colleges, essays and admission process simultaneously.
Any help on this will be much appreciated.

The competition in round 2 has been increasing hence the schools encourage people to apply in round 1 instead.
International applicants are strongly encouraged to apply in round 1 or 2. Round 3 is a little tight to address VISA issues. Hence, from round 3, I would keep my expectations subdued (It's not impossible to get through in round 3 of course).
Obviously, you can easily go ahead and apply to ISB/IIMC if you get done with your app within their deadline. As for US schools, the chances of getting through in round 1 next year would be higher, in my opinion. 30 and 31 aren't very different. Use the next year wisely if you do plan accordingly.
