Hi,

To apply for a US tourist visa, you need the following documents.

Current Passport as well as old old passports.
One photograph (preferably 3).
Confirmation page of online submitted Form DS-160 with CEAC bar code.
Visa Fee Receipt. Fees to be paid in advance at the Bank before taking an appointment.
Original interview appointment letter.
Supporting documents required (depending on your case)

Marriage certificate.
Land sale deed .
Bank statements.
Business cards/ Documents showing business existence in India.
Basically, any document that can prove your case. For example, if you are a businessman traveling to US on a business conference, then documents that will tell that you have ties to India and will return.

Traveling Documents

Plane tickets (with return ideal)
Accommodation details
Sponsor details (if any)
Itinerary if any.
