rhyme, i am not worried about you for next year. you'll get a job - i am sure of it.
The GM job would be good, no doubt. A solid foundation, and I bet they know how to deal with interns. You'd have a good experience.
The VC job really offers a unique opportunity. The question, of course, is if this is an opportunity that you want.
Will the VC folks offer you a robust experience? Small organizations often don't deal as well with interns - having had interns myself, it takes planning and support to offer a good experience.
Will you be unhappy at the VC firm? It's a different culture from what you're used to. If you're miserable, it doesn't matter how good the experience is.
And finally, assuming the fit is good and that they will make good use of you, IS this the foundation you want? DO you want to explore VC? I am certain that GM will still be there for you after this summer. VC - less sure. So if you want to explore it, now is probably the time.
