What is my GMAT standing

Question

Hi,

I have my GMAT in around 28 days. However, I am not sure of my actual GMAT standing yet. Can you please help me know that. Below are the scores from the various tests I have taken.

1. Princeton Review test 1 | 18/05/2013 | 550
2. Princeton Review test 2 | 01/06/2013 | 610
3. GMAT Prep 1 | 07/06/2013 | 650
4. Princeton Review test 3 | 28/06/2013 | 570 ( gave this one in high fever)
5. Princeton Review test 4 | 10/07/2013 | 630
6. Kaplan test 1 | 13/07/2013 | 670
7. Kaplan test 2 | 18/07/2013 | 640
8 . Princeton Review test 5 | 21/07/2013 | 710
9. Kaplan test 3 | 25/07/2013 | 640
10. Princeton Review test 6 | 28/07/2013 | 650
11. PowerPrep test 1 | 28/07/2013 | 720 ( but a lot of questions where OG repeat)
12. GMAT Prep 1 | 04/08/2013 | 700
re-take (after a month gap).
Got 5 questions repeat in quant , got 3 of them wrong again.

I simply am not able to gauge my performance till now. My target score is 750. Should I consider re-scheduling my exam?
I am really scekptical about re-scheduling because the 1st school I want to apply to has deadline of 15th Sept,2013.

You can never have a 'standing' defined for you based on your practice tests. In general, GMAT prep scores are the closest indicator. So, if I had to choose a range, I'd say: 680-720. Obviously, won't help much and is totally unscientific.

Actually I am totally confused. have taken about 12 tests. Score above 700 in just 3, one of which is PowerPrep(assumed to be easy).
the other one is GMAT Prep retake..after a month. Wonder if that could have elevated my score?

Also, my quant is struck at 47 points. How do I reach 51 from here?
My verbal keeps shifting between 31-35, and I get a lot of RC's wrong. Any suggestions ?

That might be true. Don't fret over it. Practice scores are for improving your weaknesses and not designing an algorithm to predict your D-day score.
Quant: gc tests should help there. Also, follow Bunuel if you aren't already. See what's in his signature.
RC tips: there are some great threads on 'how to improve RC' on gc. Search for them. Alternatively, you can also look at my debrief (in my signature). I've described what worked for me.

ok..so my preparation has mostly covered OG 13 and OG 10.
Apart from that, I keep on giving tests and practicing questions on gmat club.
I also joined princeton review Classroom prep course .. so have done that material as well.

Can you suggest some boosters for quant(47 to 51) and verbal (33 to 40).
Major problem I face is with the RC's
