We are all in the midst of Business School Application process - Research, GMAT, Essays, Letters of Recommendation, Transcripts, Interviews, and anything else in between. So, which of these is/was the hardest for you? -

For me, the essays were by far the most difficult part. Not only because of sheer volume (my fault), but also because I'm just not the best at writing about myself, let alone in compelling prose. Everything else, from the GMAT and deciding where to apply to interviews and deciding where to matriculate, was cake in comparison.

3 hardest things: 1. Waiting for interview invitations/decisions 2. Deciding which schools to apply to 3. Goading recommenders to write just one more letter I love writing so the essays were not terribly stressful. (not exactly fun either)

wish i could say that... this heavily varies - I had a huge battle with the gmat unlike most others. Really, i think writing and thinking of essay is supposed to be the most challenging on average. The entire process can be extremely stressful, unless you're confident, killing it, and getting admits all over the place. my rank: 1. stress (more personal b/c i am still wondering what the hell im going to do) 2. essays (standard #1 in my opinon) 3. gmat (all thought this was harder for me personally) 4. interviews the rest is just easy in my opinion....it takes time and hard work, but that = results for these things in my opinion, unlike things like the gmat and essays.
