To present well-written situational essays (leadership, challenge, failure, etc) you must first gain clarity on the essay prompt and understand that the Admissions Committee is more interested in reading about your response to a challenging situation than a long rant about the situation by itself. Therefore, rather than describing the situation in detail, you must present a crisp and objective overview of the situation with a strong focus on your actions; they must be well-reasoned and clearly expressed. These essays provide insight into aspects such as perseverance, determination, team skills, problem-solving abilities, etc., so think of concrete example to build upon. All the best!
