got B! it is helpful to rephrase this question before looking at stmt 1 and 2. You will realize all you want to find is 1/n.

Ans is B.

The normal equation is for sum/average/ etc... is written

Sum/# of terms= Average --> S/#=A. Since we are looking for A/S just rework the equation.

1/#=A/S.

S1: Tells us the Sum, but we can't determine the ratio of A/S here.

S2: gives us 1/10=A/S

Suff.

B. who is Joe Bloggs?

Joe Bloggs is a fictional character from Pricenton Review in theie book.
This is a cut and paste of this guy's character.
"Joe Bloggs is an average American prospective business school student .He has average grades in college and he will get average grade in GMAT. There's little bit on him in everyone , and there's little bit of everyone in him.He isn't brilliant .He isn't dumb .He's just average."

In short he is a guy who most of the time falls in the trap!

St1:
We do not have the average nor the # of elements in the series. Insufficient.

St2:
If sum = x, then average = x/10 and ratio = 1/10. Sufficient.

Ans B
