What is the ratio of x:y:z?

(1) z = 1 and xy =32

This does not give us a relationship between x, y and z. Hence, Insufficient.

(2) x/y = 2 and z/y = 1/4

x = 2y
z = y/4

with the information gien we can find the value of x:y:z

Sufficient.
