What is the rightmost non-zero digit in the integer value of 12! ?

    A. 1
    B. 2
    C. 4
    D. 6
    E. 8


The 12! is a pretty small number and can be dealt directly.

1*2*3*4*5*6*7*8*9*10*11*12
Remove 2*5*10 as they give 0s in the end.
Remove the ones that give you 6.....12*3,6,7*8,4*9– when multiplied, they will give you 6
Remaining 1 and 11 will not affect the units digit

Therefore combined product will give 6 as units digit.

So we have 6 as units digit of 1*2*3*4*5*6*7*8*9*10*11*12

6 to any power will give units digit as 6.
That is, 216*3456*26*6….. will always have a units digit 6.
So, you can cancel out all that give you product with units digit 6 and just keep a 6.
