(1) The units digit of y^2 is equal to 6.
(2) The units digit of (y + 1)^2 is equal to 5.

St1 says y can be a digit with unit digit as 4 or 6. Hence insufficient.

St2 says unit digit of y+1 is always 5. Hence unit digit of y is always 4. Sufficient
