We can re-write the above equation in terms of 7:
7 + 6*7 + 6*7^2 + 6*7^3 + 6*7^4 + 6*7^5 + 6*7^6
= 7 + (7-1)*7 + (7-1)*7^2 + (7-1)*7^3 + (7-1)*7^4 + (7-1)*7^5 + (7-1)*7^6
= 7 + 7^2 - 7 + 7^3 - 7^2 + 7^4 - 7^3 + 7^5 - 7^4 + 7^6 - 7^5 + 7^7 - 7^6
= 7^7
Hence C is the correct answer.

One of the other method we could do this is as follows.
What is the value of 7+6∗7+6∗7^2 +6∗7^3 +6∗7^4 +6∗7^5 +6∗7^6 ?
(A) 6^7
(B) 6^9
(C) 7^7
(D) 7^8
(E) 7^9
By just comparing last digit of question vs answer choices.
question last digits = 7+2+4+8+6+2+4 = 3 (3 would be the last digit of all equation provided)
Looking at answers only (C) gets last digit 3. thus, Answer is (C)
