[#permalink] ### Show Tags 17 Feb 2019, 18:37 => $$\frac{(2^{2020} + 2^{2018})}{(2^{2020}-2^{2018})}$$ $$= \frac{(2^22^{2018} + 2^{2018})}{(2^22^{2018}-2^{2018})}$$ $$= \frac{(2^{2018})(2^2+1)}{(2^{2018})(2^2-1)} = \frac{(2^2+1)}{(2^2-1)}$$ $$= \frac{5}{3}$$ Therefore, the answer is B. I tried this out a different way by giving the same scenario to more manageable numbers.

(2^5+2^3) / (2^5 +2^3) = (32 + 8) / (32 - 8) = 40 / 24 = 5/3
