[quote="Bunuel"]What is the value of |n| + 5?
(1) n^3 0 or n^2>1.... n1 is not VALID..
if n is +ive, \(n^2-1<0... n^2<1\).... n lies between 1 and 0...
No unique value..
Insuff..
(2) n^3 = 16n\(n^3-16n = 0.... n(n^2-16) = 0\)...
so either n is 16 or n^2 = 16..although n can be -4 or 4from n^2-16 = 0.. we are looking for MOD |n| so two values 0 or 4..
Insuff
Combined..Staement I tells us that n is NOT 0, and II gives us 0 and 4 as the value..
so only possible value = 4
Suff
