(1) \(x =\sqrt{2x - 1}\)
square both sides
\(x^2=2x-1..........x^2-2x+1=0.........(x-1)^2=0\)
x=1 so \(x^2=1\)
sufficient
(2) \(x^2 = x^3\)...
\(x^2=x^3.........x^3-x^2=0......x^2(x-1)=0\)
x can be 0 or 1
