I'm an INTJ. Although I think I am only slightly more introverted than extroverted. I did this test during my introspection process before writing my essays :)

I'm a schizo... :P

I've taken the Myers-Briggs quite a few times, and every time I get a different result, except for the "N" part. Everything else is right smack in the middle, so it can go either way...

so technically I'm E/I, N, F/T, J/P

But I like to be ENFP or ENFJ :)

Lots of I's here! I am not surprised. I always notice most people I meet at MBA events are soo shy, and dont like small talk. I am naturally drawn to the marketing students who seem to be more up beat...and then you have the loud drinker from banking/accounting lol who will talk to anyone.

I went to Baruch last night...lots of I's.

I don't feel like I would be a fit there.

The only school I felt was a fit was Kellogg and NYU.

I guess now my girlfriend will have to believe that I am a nice, caring, and sensitive guy :-D

I am surprised that so many people here are I's; I guess I have been fallaciously associating leadership (drive) with being an extrovert. I would think that most people pursuing MBA would be more extrovert...I guess I am wrong (as always); anyways, I never claimed to be very smart (just good looking)... 8-)

I might be wrong but here is my take on that.

Most Extroverts are better at talking their way through situations and moving up career wise without the MBA, and the MBA is proof that hey, I can BS, but I'm smart too. At least the ones I know. Actually, lol, thats how I went from design to brand management, many of my Introvert friends are hoping they can switch to brand management with the help of school. Most Introverts go to school looking to get help with networking, communicating, and getting in the door, they are deeper thinkers so they get through the course work with no problem. Not saying one is better than the other at all. But extroverts can sometimes talk themselves out of opportunities also, cause we can be too open.

Check out the book Do What You Are for a much lol better explaination.

Nitty...couldn't agree more with you on this point. I have lost count of how many times I have acted too smart for my own good and lost out on some excellent opportunities by not shutting up. By the same token, most of my success in professional life can be attributed to my BS skills :-D

I was a marketing major and now I work in internal consulting...I guess this is some truth to this test

Thanks for sharing. I've been looking for an online free quiz like this for my boyfriend as he is a bit lost on what to do next. He does not intend to get an MBA, but this will be of enormous help!

I am the one applying to business school so I couldn't help but take the test myself. Interestingly, the career prospects the quiz identified fit very well with where I have been and where I want to go. Good to know!

My profile: ENTJ

Chief Executive Officer - Long-term goal (hopefully!)

Network integration specialist

Management consultant - Post MBA goal

Politician/political manager

Franchise owner

Corporate finance attorney

Personnel financial planner

Real estate developer

Marketing executive - Current role is in this area

Investment consultant/planner

Economic analyst

Chemical engineer

Educational consultant

Judge

ENTJs.

Great careers for ENTJs

Here are just a few popular and often satisfying careers for people whose Personality Type is ENTJ.

* Chief Executive Officer
* Network integration specialist
* Management consultant
->where I want to go
* Politician/political manager
* Franchise owner
* Corporate finance attorney
* Personnel financial planner
* Real estate developer
* Marketing executive
->where I have been
* Intellectual property attorney
* Investment consultant/planner
* Economic analyst
* Chemical engineer
* Educational consultant
* Judge

Feels like a horoscope. It's so general, there is always some truth. (sorry to be so critical, I hate to be categorized by a mere test. I'd say my personality is a little more complex)
