Hey guys,
my next GMAT appointment is coming soon!
Within the last month I practiced quite hard - worked through the
MGMAT books (again), finished
the OG13 and did 3
MGMAT CATs. However, the results were rather strange..
I took the Test one month ago and scored a disappointing 550 (Q44 V23).
The previous cats indicated different weaknesses/strengths
MGMAT 1 q39 v34 600
MGMAT 2 q37 v31 570
I knew that verbal on the
MGMAT CATs is slightly easier but this gap seems way too big...
Since the last test I have primarily focussed on the verbal part -
CR Boldface / Assumption (negation/defender)
SC intended meaning (as a non-native sometimes really tricky)
RC better understanding and faster reading
and this seems to pay off partly as I did 3
MGMAT CATs within
the last 5 days. Still I'd expected the scores to be a little better than that!
MGMAT 3 q38 v35 610
MGMAT 4 q40 v38 650
MGMAT 5 q37 v37 620
Accuracy according the the
Manhattan GMAT reports is between 62-75% for the respective verbal parts (RC<CR<SC)
Since there is not much time left - what would should I do next?
do another
MGMAT CAT
other CAT (Princeton Review/Kaplan/Gmatclub...etc.)
Go through
MGMAt books once again / Gmatclub math book
help or other suggestions much appreciated!!
I am aiming for a score above 600 - reasonable?
