Hey guys , I have been practicing GMAT for a while I even took a test month ago and got 640 (q 48/84%,v 31/63%) I know my verbal score sucks and my quantitative was not the best at the test date so I am going to retake the test . That's some general info about me , now for the topic ,
I often find my self during practice test stuck with roughly 10 questions with only say 10-12 minutes left ,( mostly on my verbal of course but sometimes with my quantitative section too ) so I can't figure out what is the best strategy to finish the test .
Option A : to try to solve 5 questions with 2 minutes each and guess rest of the questions
or Option B : to try solve all 10 questions with skimming strategy .
( I am thinking to follow Option A , but am not sure whether it is the best way to maximize the score)
Please i need to hear your thoughts/arguments and any other Options/strategies for the case , i think that would be helpful to all of us.

My best performance on quant is when I forgot the clock, relaxed, and didnt care about timing. I had to guess on the last 5 and got a 48, thinking I had done terribly. Another time I was right on schedule, answered all questions and got a 38. Once you have 5 questions left, the test already knows your level- your not changin their mind or jumping up in points heavily. Verbal is different. You need to work on timing for verbal as missing can be detrimental. After I started using lsat questions as practice, the gmat verbal seemed like a child's test and I ran through it.. Try that approach maybe

Best situation is to plan better, and not be in this situation.
That said, if you do find yourself there, i would "guess" at all of them, after taking a quick look and seeing what I can eliminate. Leaving questions blank is worse than guessing - at least with guessing, you have a chance.
