I'm trying to order a laptop because there is a decent deal on Lenovo, but I don't know if I should buy the MS office pre-installed or not.
Can someone tell me what version we need to buy? is it the expensive professional version? or is there a better deal at school once we enroll?

Kellogg gives each student a copy of Office for free, not sure if other schools include the necessary software or not.

It appears that most schools offer either free or deeply discounted versions of Office. If you will be charged extra for including it with you Lenovo then I would recommend not doing so and obtaining a copy through your university
- I took a class on VBA programming (ended up learning quite a bit but was way beyond my interest/comfort/sanity level)
