When 1/20% of 4,000 is subtracted from 1/10 of 4,000, the difference is

A. 50
B. 200
C. 380
D. 398
E. 400

Kudos for correct solution.

Always remember: Whenever you are given a percentage, simply divide the number by 100
1/20% of 4000 = 4000/(20*100) = 2
1/10 of 4000 = 4000/10 = 400

Therefore difference = 400 - 2 = 398
Option D

The answer is D

\(1/20% of 4000\)
=\((1/20*100)*4000\)=2

\((1/10)of 4000\)=400

400-2 =398

+1 kudo,if i helped.
