Error Analysis
A. should be "criticized" to make it parallel to "applauded".
B. Correct
C. Subject-Verb agreement. It should be "his ideas were"
D. "Although" shows contrast, whereas "also" shows agreement. Both cannot be used together.
E. "But" is redundant, "Although" already shows contrast.
