there are no silly questions. So please don't apologise.

R1: is round1. Normally, each school has 4-5 rounds of the admission process. (some have on the rolling, meaning no deadlines)

Hi Guys,

I have decided to write GMAT on December 3rd 2016; Assuming i get a good score , when is the last date for the applications to the colleges for EU and US likewise for the 2017 Fall batch?

The college i'm aiming for is Erasmus(RSM)

Please warn me about the Little things that newbies tend to ignore which could be a disaster later?

Thanks
SA

Hi Guys,
Hi prabhakar09,
Thanks for your question- and I agree that you can try to go for the earliest round- a lot depends on the school- for example r1 Harvard has an early September 7 deadline and a school like Mendoza (Notre Dame has a R1 application of Nov 1. You can look at the deadlines for all the top programs here: https://poetsandquants.com/2016/05/25/20 ... deadlines/

Once you've decided when and where to apply, here are some tips from StratusPrep on how to prepare your best application!

Good step mate.

and since you are doing in December. you have time to apply for R1. Do that. R1 gives you better chances at scholarships.

make your list of programs that you like. make a list. with deadlines, average GMAT scores (you wanna be at par or higher than this), fee, and some other details

Some schools seek special profiles, mind them (like INSEAD wants international exposure and so on)

Follow this forum there are many advises given in regards of GMAT test and strategy and applications.
