When will the applications for fall 2020 open?

Hi Guys,

Looking to apply to Stern MBA for Fall 2020. When will the applications and essay questions be out? And will the essay questions differ every year?

Hi,

Stern's first deadline this year was 15 October. So, you can expect it to be somewhere in between September end and October mid. Again, the questions may or may not change. You can start networking with the students there though to understand the culture and your fit in the programme.

Sorry, I might have not put it right. My question was not about deadlines. I wanted to know by when can I start applying at the latest. Right now, NYU is accepting applications only for 2019.

You can start working on the basic necessities such as resume and basic questions such as "why mba" for now. The portal will open somewhere around june (an educated guess) but not before that. So you can start networking with the alumni, current students and adcoms in the meanwhile.

Which are the colleges that I can apply to for admission in Fall 2019 if I appear for my GMAT in April/May 2019 ?? Is there any list ?

siddharthfrancis  You can start applying for the colleges which are still accepting applications. You have to tell them that you are planning to take GMAT in April and update them about your score when you get it.

It is common to update the scores after the application, a lot of them did during the master's application. But I don't know if it's accepted in MBA applications.

Most deadlines are already over (for people who need visas) for the fall intake. B-schools still have R3 deadlines, but if you are an Indian (as your name suggests) then getting into R3 will be almost impossible. Typically its better to apply in the first two rounds to a program.

If you are looking at European/ Canadian programs, you'll still have options.
