Where does parallelism start in this sentence?  [#permalink]

Which of these would be right? I'm not sure where to begin parallelism, after the "to" or after the "increase".

I want to increase my capacity for responsibility and my market value to clients.

or

I want to increase my capacity for responsibility and increase my market value to clients.

Both are completely correct. I think the former is more 'readable,' because it doesn't sound as repetitive. But, on the GMAT, you shouldn't cross off either of them. (And you will never see a question that makes you choose between the two, without another error in one or both!)
