where to buy flashcards?

Question

I want to make some flashcards as a part of my GMAT prep. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can find some? I don't have any preference for the online version or for the store-bought ones..Either one works for me...So where Can I get these cards?

Well I tried to find cards suitable for the purpose, but I couldn't! I asked in a few stationary shops

In the end, I just bought a big chart paper of A1 size and got it cut into small cards suitable for the purpose.

Entwistle, Thanks for ur reply! +1 to you. Well, I have seen this kinf od think here in the United States but I forgot the store where I saw it :evil:

... I think we have some sites such as flashcardmachine.com but I'm not sure if these sites will 'retain' our flashcards (I dont want to end up losing them!) . Also, such sites might b full of spam/spam mails.

@heygirl lol... Go to a place that prints wedding/greeting cards and ask them if you can get 5x3 inch cards

If they're not able to provide it, they can atleast direct you to some place where you can get them!

Thanks so much for ur support here. Apparently, such cards are called index cards, like u mentioned in ur earlier post. I went to the departmental store walgreens here and found it so easily. IT is available at ANY grocery/departmental store here in the US.Thank God I found it... I was finding it hard to use notes as notes were all over the place. Hopegully, these cards will help me.

I feel so silly for posting such a topic here :oops:

Such things are not readily available here! Fortunately, almost anything can be made available :D In India we call it - "Jugad"

I was born and raised in India,moved here a few years back, so I very well know 'jugad'. And, yes, the cards are just like cut pieces of chart paper. You have your GMAT sometime end of this month, isnt it? Good Luck!

There is an Avery product that works well (the size of flashcards) - you should/may be able to find it at Staples/Office Depot
