Hi everyone! I just got into Booth today with a $30k per year scholarship (total $60k). I got into Darden in the Early Action Round with 100% scholarship ($155k). I'm looking to pivot my career from tech (working as a Sr. Software Engineer at a Big Tech) to consulting, but also want to keep my options open and have considered a PM/marketing roles.
I am super confused and would love to get people's ideas of what the better option is? I feel that Darden's full-ride really stands out for me, but Booth is enticing due to the brand name and its ties to the MBBs.

Congratulations. Awesome job getting admits and scholarships. I think the big question is how much do you believe in yourself and how much help would you appreciate…
If you have a strong brand on your résumé such as Microsoft or Google or Facebook, I think your résumé will be pretty strong even without a strong brand like a booth. At the same time, you will miss all of the opportunities that come to booth that would not come to Darden….
Do you want more on campus recruiting events, bigger alum network, and more weight on your résumé when you apply for internships and jobs off-campus, higher caliber classmates, etc.
At the same time, if you are feeling confident about recruiting and you are planning to do a lot of it on your own which frankly you will do that at any business school, I can see trying to save some money 😎

Thanks bb for the advice! After a lot of speculation and networking with folks from both schools, I ended up choosing Booth for my MBA. Looking at the next two years as an investment on myself, haha!
