Hi All,

I plan to apply for fall 2020 and will have 2 years of work experience at a Big4 consulting practice by then.
My prior education was a 5 year dual degree in engineering and management.
CGPA- 7.5
GMAT- 730

I have worked across government, digital, infrastructure and transport sectors.
I also have 2 years of volunteering experience while at university.

Which colleges in the US/Europe do I have a genuine shot at?

Thanks.

Hi Esha,
A little more information would help: Are you female or male. Which school did you go to (for some comparisons), and what is the GPA out of?
Your GMAT score and big 4 experience can definitely give you a shot at some top USA and European bschools (I'd say top 10-15) - though 2 years of work experience does seem a bit on the low side. Have you been promoted? That would help a complement shorter work experience length.
Happy to chat more and help!

Hi and welcome to GMAT Club!

2 years is a bit on the shallow side. 3-5 would be ideal (by time of matriculation, not time of application). Lack of WE will be an issue in your essays (coming up with sufficient number of leadership examples) and potentially in interview and later on during your class interactions and recruiting. Your work experience is what will give you the lift and umph in on campus recruiting when a consulting comes looking for 20 people and 200 apply. Do you think they will pick you or someone with 5 years of work experience and multiple roles/companies? Adcom looks at you in part as a recruiter would and if a recruiter would not be impressed with your work history, then they would have questions as well.
