I took my GMAT with half prep and 1 free postpone on 19th September 2017 and scored a 460( Q35, V19). I know it's a pretty bad score with a 1.5 month prep. I was scoring 580, 560 in GMAT Prep free tests before the exam but on the exam day the center had a disruption of around 30 mins on my Verbal section, lost focus and even got 4 mins less overall in the Verbal section and ended up pacing and guessing for nearly the last 10-12 questions.
Now, I have written to GMAC for a free re-take. Hopefully, I am offered one but even if I am not I have to re-take the test with good preparation as I target to score nothing less than a 700.
Because of this re-take I am a little tight on budget to purchase CATs.
I am planning to buy 1 of the 2 EXAM PACKS from GMATPREP and buy 6 CATs of Manhattan Prep. The cost analysis done by me is:
So, I get 10 tests to practice by spending 98.99 or 100$
If I buy only the 2 exam packs which are currently available on discount, the bundle costs me 89.98$ ( for 6 tests)
Please suggest me what should I buy ?

If budget is really an issue for you and you want to get maximum number of mocks, why don't you go for 6 Manhattan. This way you will have 6 Manhattan + 2 free GMAT Preps, making it to 8.
Think about it.
I personally feel Manhattan, although are tough, will make you understand how far you are from your goal score.
Hi. I have used all 6 Manhattan GMAT mocks. They are quite good but their quant is slightly tougher than the actual GMAT quant level hence it's not truly representative of the GMAT. The verbal difficulty matches the GMAT difficulty in most Questions. Yet the MGMAT mocks are very well designed and the explanations are highly detailed and brilliant. If you have to choose between 6 (MGMAT) and 2 (official GMAT), then choose MGMAT as you get more value for money and more high level practice. Also use all the free and available online mocks such as Veritas, Kaplan, etc.
Hey Hozefa, as you mentioned, the difficulty level of Manhattan Quant is higher than that of actual GMAT, so how many points should one add to one's Manhattan quant score to get an estimate of the actual quant score that one would obtain?
Thanks a lot!
