Hi,
I am an International candidate with a degree in Engineering looking for an MBA program in Europe. My aim is to move into Consultancy (Operations) and find work within Europe. I have been short-listing top European schools and would like to apply at top 3 from the below list.

Putting aside the ranking stats, it would be great if someone could give some feedback in terms of which 3 to apply considering placements for International candidates.

HEC Paris (Pretty solid)
IMD
ESADE
IESE
IE
SDA BOCCONI

5 Yrs WE (Oil Gas Operations)
650 GMAT
8 IELTS
3.1 GPA

Hi TA89,

I am an alum of a top 5 global MBA program and here is my advice. Great that you already know that you want to move into consultancy (operations). Dig a bit deeper here, research and specify the following:
- what employers would you like to work for? Your ideal dream companies.
- what country (or even city) would like to be based in post MBA?
- These companies you listed, where are they hiring their MBAs from?
- These companies you listed, check out their current staff from LinkedIn and find out if they have an MBA and if so from where?

Doing the above research will help you become CLEAR on your professional goals and then choose an MBA program at a business school that would lead you to that path. Some of these business schools have great relations with certain employers, so you want to place yourself in an environment where you know you can maximize every opportunity to make your dream career a reality.

I want to help you to find the answer yourself instead of saying this business school or that business school. As the answer relies on YOU, what you truly want and the in-depth research you have done to map out the route to your dream career.
