If the total number of events (that is total frequencies) is odd, the middle number will be the median, so median will be present in the set
But if the events are even, the median will be the average of two middle numbers and thus it will not be part of the set


# of frequencies = 8+12+16+7+X =33+x should be even as we do not want the median to be in the set
So X has to be odd..
Only B is odd and 3 fits in
