Which of the following fractions is the largest?

A. 2/7.
B. 2/3.
C. 7/9.
D. 7/12.
E. 3/5.

We can easily see that 2/7 (since it’s less than 2/3) and 7/12 (since it’s less than 7/9) are not the largest, so we are left with:

2/3 = 0.667, 3/5 = 0.6, and 7/9 = 0.778

Answer: C
