I. 2^5*4^5
II. 2^15
III. 2^5 ^2^10

A. II only
B. I and II only
C. I and III only
D. II and III only
E. I, II, and III

8^5 = 4^5*2^5 = 2^10*2^5 = 2^15

all three options are correct

IMO E

Archit3110, thanks for your explanation. I understand 2^8 can be simplified to 2^15. But I don't understand how 2^5^2^10 was simplified to 2^15. I thought the rule is (a^b)^c is simplified as a^bc or is there a typo in the question?. Thanks.

quoting your line:

highlighted to be read as 2^5*2^10

8^5 = 4^5*2^5 = 2^(2*5)* 2^5 = 2^10 * 2^5 and if you have same base you can add powers 2 ^a*2^b = 2^(a+b) = 2^10*2^5 = 2^15
