Information given is two POSITIVE integers whose sum is 3
1) the numbers will be >0
2) the numbers will be <3
Numbers possible is combination of 1 and 2
1+2=3 so 1*2=2

$$3 = 1 + 2$$

Product must be $$1*2 = 2$$, Answer must be (C)

Option C.

2*1 = 2 but 2 +1 = 3.
