I heard that official GMAT materials are the best to study with, at least for their questions. There are several options though for add ons and question banks and extra practice tests. I already have the official guide for 2018, but is it useful to buy the 2020 book anyways with the online bank, the question add ons of 300 ish a piece? Thank you.

superphily - You would need more than the official guides to prepare for the GMAT. I would highly recommend that you enroll in a structured online course. To answer your question, yes, the 300 new questions available in the latest official guide is indeed very useful. Please remember that you must stick to official questions while practicing verbal. For quant, I would recommend GMAT Club Test Center. GMAT Club Test Center is the next best option after the official sources, including GMAT Prep and official guides. The questions available in the GMAT Club Tests are fairly representative of the ones on actual GMAT. If you do not have access to the GMAT Club Tests, please purchase the tests as early as possible.

I think you should treat OG questions as standard and use them wisely. Dont go and rush to solve them unless you feel you are ready with a basic level practice.
Keep using this GmatClub forum. It has great amount of content that will help you in your prep.
IMO you should buy OG 2020. You will get online access to the question so that you can solve them in a test-like environment.
