B implies you don't know anyone with connections to the entertainment industry.

But, the membership requirement is not to have connections (a direct relationship) to entertainment industry.

E specifies hollywood => Hollywood is not synonymous with the entertainment industry but is a part of it.

I might go for E...

I think I am reading too much into it---

Doesn't a person 'knowing' someone who has a connection imply that the person has a connection?

If not, then E is probably the better answer.

I sure hope OE doesn't say - x doesn't know anybody who has connections with y. x is the only person in the whole wide world that knows y'... i mean, its possible, but y = entertainment industry here! :shock:

I hope not... that wouldn't be correct.

On the other hand, by PoE, we can arrive at E.
The only two real choices are B or E.

B, I think, is not the one because the CR implied a "direct connection" with the entertainment industry. So you are still allowed to know someone from the entertainment industry, but not have direct connections with the industry.

That leaves, E which is a feasible choice as financing Hollywood implies a direct connection, which wouldn't be allowed.

Therefore, E.

Agree with your assessment of Nova... wasted some good moolah on it :(

Problem with E is that it does not imply total isolation from the entertainment industry. What if he was financing non-hollywood movies outside of the us? Or one of the magazines he published was a tabloid! Or an entertainment based segment such as E! etc etc.

Found B better in that sense :roll:
