A short term goal in entrepreneurship is usually a tough idea to sell... But you've got the right undergrad, good grades from a tough major and a great GRE score (I guess it's around the 750 range in the GMAT)..

I guess with "a" the answer is - it depends - Your essays are going to play an important role. With "b" - More often than not the answer is - yes - Such experiences will give you great fodder to write your essays...

Thanks a lot for your reply. Is there any B School in particular which values entrepreneurship experience and also has good opportunities to pursue entrepreneurship after MBA?

I think each school has its own take on entrepreneurship post-graduation ... everyone will give you their own opinion -- but entrepreneurship is so much dependent on individual drive that obviously the caliber of your MBA will help open doors, but whether or not those doors stay open in the future depends on what you do with the first ones that get opened up.

Hope this helps.

Here is my profile. Please take a look and suggest which B-schools I have a chance of getting into.

Profile:
Sex: Male Age: 25 Country: India
Undergrad: IIT Bombay (India) GPA - 7.3/10
Discipline: Chemical Engg.
GRE: 331. Verbal - 161(87%) and Quant - 170(98%) (Decided just recently to apply for MBA, don't have time to give GMAT. Had given GRE earlier)
Experience: 3 years (as of now)
a) Founder of a very small F&B company (didn't do very well)
b) Founding partner of a 40 million INR manufacturing company (Pushed out by the investor after the company started getting profits)
c) Currently - Chief Marketing Officer of a startup (Heading marketing, sales and content development)
International exposure: Visited China for sourcing machinery and collaborated with 2 Chinese companies for more than an year.
Reasons for MBA - Realized drawbacks from past experiences, want to improve on them.
Future aim - Entrepreneurship after MBA or job in a startup.
Location preference: None (anywhere in the world)

Please suggest schools which accept GRE scores also.

Most of the top ten schools accept GRE scores now. 331 is definitely a very good score. You have average GPA but your good GPA shows you can withstand the academic rigor at the business school. Moreover, IIT is a recognized brand name at top US and international business schools. You might have to use your failures to show your learnings. You have not mentioned about your extracurricular activities which are very important in your application. If you apply now, you would be applying in R2 of the selection process in all universities and you will have to fill in the application rather quickly. I am not sure if you have applied to any other schools in R1. You have two options a) Apply for mba next year in the first round which gives you more time to get some results in your current role. Most of your previous roles ended in failures. So, you have to deliver some results to b) If you think you are ready for R2, speak to few alumni at few top schools. We need more information to provide you any school suggestions. Download the free ebook – How to get into top a business school at https://www.interviewbay.com/mba/how-to- ... -ebook.php.

Good Luck!
