Hi
taylorforbes,
Congrats on the strong GMAT. While your GPA is definitely on the lower side, a 750 will help to outweigh this. However, it doesn't offset it completely. Keep in mind that demographic factors in as well. Depending on your demographic, you may want an even higher score to offset your GPA. Of course, this is all individualized and after 770, the benefit in increasing is limited.
In addition, taking graduate-level courses can show your ability to succeed academically in a way a GMAT may not show. GMAT is most important but once you reach your full potential, showing extra courses is often advised. These can help boost your candidacy for H/S/W.
If you are at all open to considering beyond the M7, there are some programs in the T10-15 range that are rising in the rankings and don't weigh GPA as heavily. For instance, Duke Fuqua cares a bit less about the numbers and more about social impact.

I am doing some research on schools that I may have a good chance at getting into.
I'm concerned with my GPA though that locks me out of H/S/W? Top 5? Top 10?
I know things are 'holistically reviewed', but I also feel like, beyond the 80% range of the GPA, you are an outlier with statistically insignificant chances.
Are there any top schools that don't weigh a GPA as heaivily? I'm not really interested in beyond M7.
