Hello
First of all thanks to both Gmat Pill and
E-Gmat courses, which have helped many to achieve success on GMAT. My query is simple- if you see I am asking for a recommendation for which course to go - Gmat Pill OR
E-Gmat. I understand both these companies have good reputation and plethora of success stories. However, I am trying to find which course suits me best (given my effectiveness and grasp of concepts). After all, I have to give the test finally and so I should feel confident while attempting the test. I have few questions that I will be thankful if someone could hel answer.
Fundamentally
EGmat and Gmat Pill methods are very different However, just looking at the videos I am unable to decide (partly because I knew many of those concepts earlier) :D
The 10 framework sounds amazing but are they sufficient ? On the other hand,
e-gmat teaches all comprehensively- right from Noun Placement - to - Modifiers (Verb-ing/ed, Noun Phrases, )- when to use each- their differences etc etc... I am sure they all are needed for GMAT and during/after MBA. Does the 10 frameworks approach matches this ? or will it just help me get 700 but not 750 (I know GMAT Pill students have had 780 even). That is why I have tried to be comprehensive about my "study type" in this post and about my requirements.
I am looking for a course in Verbal that really teaches and coves fundamentally all the concepts tested on GMAT, and that too in a way that is understandable. Since I am a non-native (does not mean I do not know english) but yes I comprehensively do not pay much attention to parallelism, or modifiers (dangling or misplaces), subjunctive , Apple and Oranges etc etc in day to day life. So I am looking for a course that teaches ALL the necessary concepts in SC as far as GMAT is concerned (does not matter whether they use jargons or not - ultimately I have to do whatever it takes to crack GMAT - I will forget jargons and keep the concepts with me BUT I should be solving questions - ..). I do not want to refer all the other stuffs, refer other books and materials since I have to work more than 11 hours on most of the days. I do not want to loose confdence that something is left and what if it comes on the test.
The application of those concepts to the problems - esp for GMAT Pill that claims 10 Frameworks (Well, I have no apprehensions about that - but seriously just 10 frameworks on SC, or for that matter in each of their verbal courses, and that covers it all ?? -- Any registered student can help on this).... I want to reiterate I am not very good in Verbal, so if ther are any pre-requisites for GMAT Pill in terms of Verbal, please elaborate. I do not want to realize later in my preparatin that oh I havent learnt everything or OMG this is too obvious for natives... !!!!
Some GMAT Pill videos have explanations saying 'awkward' - which too me was a little illogical for rejecting an answer.... Please comment on this.. No Mention of practise questions too which I think is utmost critical.. Eventually I will have to mark the answers and that too correct..

There should be sufficient practise questions as per GMAT standards, including 700+ also. and also support if needed.
For the RC and CR section, I have similar doubts...
Does GMAT Pill has IR + Verbal Combo like E_Gmat ?... I am not very interested in Quant course since I already score good. So I am not sure how beneficial it will be for me..
I think I have a good IQ with good grasp of concepts. But I lack sometimes in understanding the meaning of the sentence and hence lost marks on Questions... Like sometimes even after realizing this is a comparison mistake question in SC, I fail to apply the concept or takes too much time.. SOmetimes I fail in MIX Parallelism when VERB-ING(Prepsent participle) and VERB-ED(past participle) combines... THese are just a few hints so you may realize what type of course I am looking at, and does your course will be OPTIMUM for me ?
But yes I do need to see concepts first ; and then their applications in different scenarios. I just cant learn from questions alone. I need to have a foundation first, so I can think and build my concepts and eventually apply them as fast as I can. I always fear have I covered all ? ; or is there any concept left that will come straight on the GMAT to screw my score. I know thats weird but I have that fear.. Lol...
I terms of course effectiveness, I have no doubt both these comapnies are good, but I think sometimes one course suits a person better. I am just trying to find which one is good for me, as per my skills and learning and timing capabilties...
I look forward to have some replies/discussion so I may chose a course and move on with my preparation (already late) - and hence i want to start my prep asap...
I am achieving good success in Quant (invariably 50 or 51 in Quant 90% of the times). Does Math COurse will still be beneficial for me ?
P.S. I do not intend to be a English Grammarrian but still I want to improve and learn.
Thanks for helping and pardon me if I sounded offensive anywhere and ofcourse for the long post
