For C, the parallel list is clear (hence wrong). For E, what is parallel to "and easily reachable during long layovers". Is it in the same list of: public parks and pedestrian paths?

I got the correct answer D from the meaning issue, but the X and Y, and Z always gets me. Are X,Y,Z parallel? Or is it 1) X and Y 2) Z?

To answer your query, in the construction "X and Y, and Z", "X" and "Y" are the parallel elements, and "Z" is not parallel to "X" and "Y".
