I just gave a veritas prep mock and scored a 650? How accurate are these and why are they scored out of 60 and not 51?. Is there any chart that I can refer to for conversion?.
Please refer to the picture attached for the breakup. What can I expect from the real test with this?
Hi
tangokilo23,
The GMAT exam doesn't use the full scale (it uses only the
6-51 range), but any competent test prep provider would be aware of that. So even if you see 0-60 on those tests, you're not looking at a different scale, and your practice tests will report scores on the 6-51 scale. All this is to say that
you don't need to worry about score 'conversion'.
You should keep in mind, though, that non-official practice tests are unlikely to be as good as official practice tests. Good non-official practice tests can be helpful, and you can use them, but you should try not to compare score estimates across test providers.
