Hi All,

I have seen a lot of study plans and have noticed that most, approximately all, of the study plans suggest to prepare maths first. Is there any specific reason behind it ? :?: :?: :?: :?:

Usually it is easier, more precise science, and helps you build confidence. There is no real scientific or otherwise advantageous reason to start with it. You are welcome to start with verbal or alternate - whatever works :-)

You have Quants before Verbal on the GMAT.
So start Preparing Quants before verbal :P :)

My point of view is different. I would suggest start with 4RCs. If you can do 4RCs within 35-40min with good accuracy then you can prepare anything you want whether it be Quants, SC or CR. If one takes more than 40min on 4RCs with poor accuracy then nothing can help save one's overall score.

I call it GMAT general eligibility test. go for it.

Try 4 random RCs 2 short + 2 long and see where you are standing.

What is most common is not always right for each person. I would recommend starting working on both from the start but rather, focusing on whichever your weaker topic is. Your studies should not be based on a formula but what works best for you. If you have any other specific questions please feel free to ask.
