School Selection and Candidacy Evaluation - I will help the client pick the appropriate MBA programs to apply to. Letters of Recommendation - I provide guidance on how to write letters of rec. I describe what elements a recommender will need to address is an appropriate recommendation. I also discuss who to approach, how and with what documentation. A lot of good recommendations are ruined by a recommender who does not know what to write or have time to write. 6. Review of Final Submission Package - I will review your final submission package in the final days before you submit to the school. This makes sure that all parts of the application are consistent. This is, in effect, making sure all the t's are crossed and the i's dotted. The potential to drop the ball here is huge. What may seem like a trivial application question can be a test in consistency across all parts of the application. 7. School Interaction Guidance - I will help the client schedule visits and interaction with the school. This includes information sessions, specific class visits, interaction with alumni. This gets the client's name out there and in the minds of the Admissions Committee members. They can then put the application with the name when it comes to decision time. 8. Mock Interview - I was an admission interviewer. I will conduct a mock interview with the client, provide coaching on the questions and then provide general feedback on the client's presence. 9. except there's no monetary exchange... just like those who ditch the courses for ipad or whatever else.. Plus she's still got time so she probably dont need this... If I had won I prob flip a coin since i am almost done on my side of things for my apps so there's a lot less i can get out of it besides maybe essay critique.

Okay I was really hoping I wouldn't win this because now I'm in a supreme fix. On one hand, I dont want a consulting package because I feel like my work should be my own. But at the same time, Paul is really really good and value addition to my hopefully decent application. And even further, I don't want people to attribute a potential admit to this. I don't know what to do

I think you can do it on your own but i would not want to doubt/question it. For my son, I would hire one since I want him to have the best chances and know that if he did not get in, it was not because of making some silly mistake such as confusing Houston and San Francisco
