There are mainly 2 splits

Is vs are.

The market is singular so we need the singular form is.

A and E are out. E can be out for using “like” to introduce examples.

D is not parallel for using by graphic designers, by social media artists, and bloggers (had it used by for all three then would be parallel).

C over B for meaning.

With political parties spending large parts of their campaign budgets online, the market for content such as infographics, videos, polls, and blogs created by a graphic designer, a social media artist, and by bloggers, are thriving at a high pace.( SV agreement error as market is singular, verb should be singular)

(A) such as infographics, videos, polls, and blogs created by a graphic designer, a social media artist, and by bloggers, are (SV agreement error and meaning suggests that market is created by a artist,a social media artist and by many bloggers)
(B) such as infographics, videos, polls, and blogs created by a graphic designer, social media artist, and blogger, is(meaning suggest that one single person is responsible for market, not correct)
(C) such as infographics, videos, polls, and blogs created by graphic designers, social media artists, and bloggers, is (clear in meaning, correct)
(D) such as infographics, videos, polls, and blogs created by graphic designers, by social media artists, and bloggers, is( to maintain the parallelism by should be used before bloggers also)
(E) like infographics, videos, polls, and blogs created by graphic designers, social media artists, and bloggers, are(use of like is wrong for introducing examples, use of such as is correct,SV mismatch)

Choice C is correct

Thanks

+1 kudos to the posts have correct POE. Focus on meaning.

Official Explanation:

Answer - C
Concepts tested: Parallelism, meaning, idioms

A - The subject here is ‘market, which is singular. Hence, we need the singular verb ‘is’ and not ‘are’.
B - Meaning issue – it implies that the market for online content created by a single person (graphic designer, social media artist and blogger rolled into one) is thriving. This doesn’t make sense – we are talking about a whole category and not about a particular individual.
C – This option is parallel and hence right
D - We require parallelism within the list of creators. ‘Created by X, Y, and Z’ or ‘created by X, by Y, and by Z’ are the correct versions. The list ‘created by X, by Y, and Z’ à not parallel.
E - ‘Such as’ is used for specific examples, whereas ‘like’ is used to express similarity. Here, ‘such as’ is more appropriate as we are talking about specific types of content.
