Reason to NOT choose option A
A) Apex, Eldorado, and Moneyland are the only organizations licensed to operate casinos in the state.
You can argue that the sale could occur to somebody that is NOT licensed to operate the casino currently
This can definitly happen in the real world
You could
- buy the casino, refurbish and resell
- buy the casino, ask for permit and operate
- etc.....

Moneyland currently runs the largest number of casinos in a particular state, with a total of 17, and is looking to expand further. Apex Casinos is in the process of buying the Eldorado casino chain but is required to sell off five of its casinos due to a state regulation that limits ownership to one casino per county. After these transactions, Apex will be in control of 20 casinos across the state.
Analysis
What situation would challenge the assumption that Apex will have the most casinos in the state after the deal is finalized? Apex is projected to have 20 casinos after its purchase, while Moneyland currently has 17, and no other operator comes close to that number. Therefore, it seems that Apex will hold the largest number of casinos post-transaction. However, if Moneyland acquires at least three more casinos during this period, Apex may not end up with the highest number of casinos. Consequently, any information indicating that Moneyland plans to acquire multiple casinos would challenge this prediction.
