Hi there
Firstly, I’d like to shine a light on your work experience. i Would like to know how much work experience you have - 3+ is a little ambiguous. If it's under 4 years, MFin would be pretty much suitable. With 4+ years of work experience, schools would suggest you to try for their MBA program - However, it does not deem you ineligible for MFin if you are able to highlight your Post-degree goals effectively.
As you’ve mentioned about 3+ years of work experience, so on that note, it is adequate, i.e., neither too high nor too low. Thus, you’re eligible to apply to the MSF program based on your work experience.
Only a few MSF/MFin schools have hard work experience limits - Some schools like HEC, LBS amongst others do have a work experience bar of approx. 2 years.
However, there are many other options you can consider for the MSF program.
For instance, since you’re interested in knowing about top universities for MSF in the US, therefore in the US, you can consider schools like NYU (MSc Accounting), MIT (MFin), USC Marshall (MFin), UC San Diego (MFin), Boston Questorm (MFE), Washington University in St. Louis, Princeton, and Brandeis (MFin), etc.
However, securing admission into the schools offering MSF/MFin program would at large depend on your overall profile, including your GPA, relevant work experience, GMAT/GRE score, brand names that add value to your profile (esteemed university or organization), and the like.
Assessing your chances of getting into any school that offers the MSF program solely on one aspect (work experience) is pretty hard.
It would be great if you could share additional details of your profile so that we can adequately analyze your profile and suggest schools accordingly.
