Hi,
I wanted to know if the CA articleship experience of 3 years is counted as work experience by foreign universities, specially US and UK universities?
Since CA is a correspondence course and articleship experience is a full-time commitment, it makes a very strong case that such experience should be considered. Would love to hear from CA community having experience of applying to B-Schools outside and Experts who advise such candidates.
Please do not provide your general opinions here, only share factual experience.

Unfortunately No, The articleship experience is not counted as work experience since it's a part of the course and not a full-time job(it comes under internship). Many of my CA friends have applied to universites in canada, US and UK, and in no case they'd considered articleship as work experience.
