Hi,

I am a s/w professional, working in USA for the past 5 years. I am planning to give my MBA. I wrote kaplan paper test and scored 640. I want to take up part time MBA,weekend mba, while working as I have mortogage to pay and cannot afford to go full time. Please advice me. My gut feeling say, put in more hours till I consistently hit 700 and then give the test. But what does schools look for, any advice for me.

I started working on CR 1000 series, they are hell different from OG. which is more close to the real exam ? my hit rate in OG is very good, but in 1000 series CR i feel the questions are different ,is my observation correct?

Please advice.

Welcome to GMATclub!

Since you are totally new to the GMAT and b-school application, I would recommend you to read first the Nink's Guide on How to Navigate Through GMATClub for Newbies.

After that, read some recent posting here in "GMAT" and "Share your experience" forums, you are going to find a ton of useful advice how to master GMAT.

For the other part of your question, regarding part-time programs, you should post your dilemma here:

and to post your detailed profile and career objectives in forum for admission consultants. You can find them here:
